ABOUT SHOP OWNER

			 								Born in India, Gauri studied in Baroda, M.S. University, with sculpture as main discipline. Her works are stunning manifestations of spontaneous and fresh surfaces of carved wooden canvases,which she colors and paints, in harmony with ceramics, to create human relations in today"s scenario. Her sculptural experiments in Ceramics, brass, peppier mache and wood, make statements provoking a thought. Currently she is teaching at Flame , school of liberal education, Pune, India.

1974-1979. BFA, M S University, Baroda. Sculpture- Distinction
1980-1982. MFA, M S University, Baroda. Creative sculpture

 EXPERIENCE:

•	1980.  Garhi, Lalit Kala academy studio, Delhi. Etching and Metal beating.                                                                                                            
•	1985.  Bhaat Bhawan, Bhopal, Lithography, etching and Ceramics.
•	1994.  Clay modeling workshops with Times of India under the program NIE and ceramic   workshops with       corporate houses etc, like Thermax pvt Ltd, Infosys , Creative Bee, Collage of
•	Interiors, Marathwada etc.
•	1997. Learning ceramics, advance with Ms Nirmala Patwardhan.
•	2000. Established ceramic studio. Experimenting and exhibiting. .  
•	Undertaken many private Mural and sculptural orders for clients like, Suman tai Kirloskar, Mr Kimvasara, Arti Havaldar, Aditi Shah etc.
