Hi, I'm Diksha Upadhyay.
Through IndyaGenius, we not only provide a global platform to promote the unique traditional art techniques and skills and create sustainable tribal employment in India but also take a pledge to revive the indigenous art forms by ploughing back profits through a need based initiative in a totally transparent value chain method.
As is well known, the tribal population in India is about 8.6% of the total population is about 104.28 million as per the 2011 census. The low social and economic development indices of the tribal and traditional communities are alarming and needs immediate handholding for creating livelihood and employments opportunities. The promotion of their art and culture is perhaps the surest form of their expressions. This is not only necessary for them but more important for the world at large to know them better while we seek their integration into the mainstream. “IndyaGenius” is an initiative to bridge that knowledge gap with the sensitivity that it deserves.

The IndyaGenius products are aesthetically handcrafted utility and affordable items and are created blending various indigenous craft skills. While creating these pieces of art we ensure to preserve and protect the integrity and authenticity of the tribal art, craft and culture.
