They say Romeo and Juliet had one of the most tragic endings to a whirlwind romance. From sworn enemies to obsessive lovers, this iconic story has been well interpreted and adapted, for love is a vast emotion.
An emotion which can be manipulated into fashion in the from of an amalgamation with a difference. From a plain Mangalgiri Cotton to a complicated yet aesthetic Ikat, it is the perfect adaptation of the world against estranged lovers.
But in this version of this Shakespearian Classic, the world and the lovers unite. The world finally understands the complexity of the fated lovers and they come together to rewrite destiny.
With this collection focussing on "Together We Stand" techniques like Patching, Pleating and Layering have been used to depict the oneness, the unification and most importantly love.
All the techniques used symbolise some or the other aspect of this romance. Patching emphasises the unification between the Mangalgiri Cotton world and the Ikat lovers, Layering represents the support provided to the lovers by the world and Pleating is the representative of the power of oneness.
With the combination of these elements we portray how love can be accepted to dignify everyone as ONE.
