ARANYA EARTHCRAFT presents handcrafted jewelry and sculptures with designs inspired by nature. Created by Dr. Vivek Prasad & Preeti Gupta, the main motto of the collection is to promote eco-friendly art with an emphasis on new designs and the creative use of material. All the material used is completely bio-degradable.
The duo uses papier-mâché (traditional material) as a medium for their contemporary designs. A significant amount of R & D went in to making the papier-mâché more refined and strong, allowing the crafting of the finest designs on it. Design and material research are the two key words of the brands’ strength.
Preeti and Vivek, coming from the field of art and craft are into eco-friendly product & jewelry designing since 8 yrs...and decided to start their own venture & call themselves "ARANYA" which means green forest – source of life and eternal energy.
Dr. Vivek Prasad has a Ph. D in Inorganic Chemistry and Preeti has a background in Commerce.
