INTRODUCTION
As a child, I always wore dresses designed and hand-stitched by my mother. I absolutely loved each of them. Every little element that she added to them, her stitching, her embroideries, choice of the colors and especially the love and the efforts she put in making that each dress specially for me. Coming from a small town in Punjab where Hand embroidered clothes, Fans that were used when there was no electricity, Boxes in which bread was served, Bangles made with threads, Pickles that my grandmother made; were all part of our culture. I hardly find that beauty anywhere today. Through my journey of exploring the regional handicrafts, I landed into Pottery. AtKanikas is place where you would find handmade pottery and unique handmade pieces from the craftspeople that I come across. We also teach Pottery and Paper craft at AtKanikas. Let’s keep the culture alive, together.
ABOUT SHOP OWNER

That is how I found my love for Handmade things.
I practice Pottery. Alongside, I love exploring regional crafts. Coming from a small town in Punjab, I grew up learning various form of crafts including embroideries, making jewellery, decorating boxes, etc. Through my educational journey of living in different states, I came across many artists practising different art forms and the idea of starting AtKanikas was born.
AtKanikas is place where you would find handmade pottery and unique handmade pieces from the craftspeople that I come across.
