The protagonist in the tapestry has vivid eyes that enunciate mystique as well as mutiny. The sandy undertones and earthy hues bring out the enigma of the golden sand dunes of Rajasthan. The portrait featured here was inspired by a painting ‘The Eyes of Thar,’ by Satish Gupta. It took Puja Bhakoo approximately three months to create this hand-made tapestry.
