Product related

The product listing page has all the details given by the artist / designer regarding their creation. If you have a specific query regarding the product, you could send a message directly to the artist/designer by clicking on the “message” icon on the product page itself.

Alternatively, you could ping us on the chat widget or leave an offline message if we are unavailable.

Most creations are handcrafted and made on order. Therefore, it may be possible to customize them to your specifications. There might be an additional cost involved which will be determined by the creator once the requirement is given to them.

Most of our products are one-of-a-kind and limited in quantity. We can liaise with the seller to see if the product can be recreated for you. Coupons are created and shared directly by the designers themselves. Keep an eye out on shop banners for any coupon codes being given out or you may also view the list of brands who are offering discounts on our “Offers and discounts” page - offers-and-discounts.

As we are a marketplace for designers and artists, the products are shipped directly by the designers who are based across the country to you. Hence, the shipping charges given are specific to each designer and product based on their location.

Some designers keep shipping charges lower for multiple products from the same shop. In such a case, the system will automatically calculate the optimal shipping charge.

Order placement

To place an order, you need to simply add the product to your shopping cart, and click on “Checkout”. Once you enter the shipping details, you will have to click on "Place order" and then proceed to the payment page.

For orders from India, we accept payments through credit cards, debit cards, net banking and Paytm.

For international orders i.e. from outside India, payments are only accepted through PayPal.

Being a peer to peer marketplace, the inventory and shipping happens directly from the designers and artists and for now we do not offer COD for buyer protection. You may rest assured that the funds get transferred from our end only when the shipment is received by the customer and the customer is satisfied.

Alternatively, if you are shopping for greater than Rs. 1000, we can share our bank account details with you and you could deposit the funds into our account to confirm the order. You can ping us on the chat widget or leave an offline message with your contact details and we will get back to you with the details.

We are an online platform and do not take orders over SMS and Whatsapp currently. This is to ensure there is no confusion on the product that you have selected and to ensure that the shipping details etc are captured correctly. Also, once you place an order on our platform, it allows you to track the order till the products are delivered to you. This end-to-end support would not be possible over SMS and Whatsapp.

For now, we would request you to place your order online. You need to simply add the product to your shopping cart and click on "Checkout” to enter the shipping details. Once entered, you can then click on "Place Order" to confirm the order details before proceeding to make a payment online.

You might face an issue whilst adding products to your cart if cookies are not enabled on your device. Request you to enable cookies and try once again.

Also, for a better shopping experience, we would recommend that you use a desktop or laptop instead of a mobile device.

Request you to check your spam / junk mail folder to see if the order confirmation email has been delivered to that folder. Else one of the following might have occurred:

1. Payment has been received, but order not confirmed due to some network issue. In this case, we would suggest that you wait for a few hours to see if the system resolves the issue automatically in the next recon. Else, we will intervene and manually trigger the system to generate the order confirmation.

2. Payment was not successfully captured by the payment gateway. In this case, the transaction will get automatically refunded back to the payment instrument through which you made the payment.

In either case, you need not worry as your funds are safe. Please ping us on the chat widget or drop us an offline message if we are unavailable and we will check the systems and get back to you as soon as possible on the status.

You will first need to create your order by adding your selection to the cart. The coupon code will have to be entered at the time of checkout whilst placing the order. Please click on the “Apply” button to effect the discount.

We are a marketplace for artists and designers showcase their creations and build their brands. The site automatically detects your location from your browser properties and only shows you products that can be shipped internationally.

There may be instances wherein your location is not picked up accurately or you are based in India, but wish to ship to an international location. In such cases, after entering the shipping address, your cart will update itself with the revised shipping price basis the international shipping address and in some cases even prompt to remove products from the cart that cannot be shipped to your location.

You can then complete the transaction by making your payment through PayPal. Please note that any local customs or duties that are due in your country would need to be paid by you.

Please note that not all of our partners are equipped to export their products outside India and hence their products would need to be removed from your cart. In such cases, we can reach out to the designers to see if they can make an exception. You could ping us on chat with the details (products interested in and shipping address) or leave an offline message if we are unavailable and we will get back to you as soon as possible. However, the cost of the product is likely to go up as international shipping charges would need to be added on. Once you receive the details and revised total, if you are interested in placing the order, we will liaise with you to facilitate the payment.

Delivery related

Most products on the platform are handcrafted and made on order. The time to prepare and dispatch the order is given against each product. Once shipped, you would get a shipment update notification with the tracking details.

If delivery was requested to an Indian address, you could add another 3-4 days for the product to be delivered and for international deliveries, you could add another 10-15 days.

We will definitely keep you informed in case of any inordinate delays in dispatch.

We are a marketplace for artists and designers and the products are shipped directly from the creator to you. Hence, each designer would ship your order individually to you.

As we are a marketplace, the products are shipped by the designers directly to you. Some of the shipments might have reached you already while the rest are on their way. You can view the latest status of each shipment under the “My Account -> My Orders” link once you login on our website.

Returns and refunds

In an eventuality of the artist or designer being unable to fulfil the order on time, we may have to cancel your order. The refund would be automatically initiated by the system and would be credited back to your account within 5-7 working days.

You will receive an email from the payment gateway when the refund has been initiated by us on the system. Once initiated, the funds would reflect against the same instrument through which you made a payment within a maximum of 7 working days. In case of a payment through a credit card, you may need to check the next card statement or call your bank to confirm the credit.

In case you receive the product in a damaged condition, please email an image of the product that you have received to contact@worldartcommunity.com. We will take this up with the designer and try and dispatch a replacement piece at the earliest. In case the same design is not available, we will reach out to you to help you choose an alternative. If we are unable to provide you an alternative, we will surely refund your payment.

In case the product received is different from what you had expected, please email an image of the product that you have received to contact@worldartcommunity.com. We will take this up with the designer and try to dispatch the correct piece at the earliest.

Artists and designers are extremely passionate about what they create and ensure that the product quality is in line with the price and expectations. A negative feedback means a lot to them. We hope as patrons you appreciate the effort that goes in hand crafting each creation. If you’re not happy with the product quality, please drop us a line at contact@worldartcommunity.com with more details around what aspect of the product was not up to your expectations. Either the designer themselves or we will get back to you on the next working day to address your concern.

We are a peer to peer platform. Each Artist and Designer has his/her own policy. As most of the products are one of a kind and often made upon order, some of the designers’ policy may indicate no returns. You may still choose to contact the designer and request them for a return as an exception if possible. Their contact details are present in the order sheet that you would have received when you placed the order.

Wallet related

Wallet is an instrument to park refunds or promotional cash back as WCash and can be used for purchases made on WAC or its affiliate platforms. WCash is non-transferable.

Your wallet is automatically created on signup. There is no separate registration process.

Currently, there are no fees or charges associated with your wallet.

Each user can only have 1 Wallet account at any point of time linked to their email id. In case a second Wallet account is created using another email id of the same user, WAC reserves the right to cancel the Wallet account without any notice. WAC's decision on closure of Wallet account will be final and binding.

WCash can be used to make purchases on WAC or its affiliate platforms. To utilise the WCash, you will need to select the checkbox that states "USE WALLET AMOUNT" which is just below the promotion code box. Once you select the box, the cart total will get automatically updated. Now click on "PROCEED TO CHECKOUT" to proceed further.

While placing an order using the Wallet account, the WCash which is expiring earlier will be utilised first.

Please note that you will need to select the "USE WALLET AMOUNT" option in the cart itself and cannot do so later.

You cannot top-up or add WCash to your account. You can pay for the product or service even if the price is higher than your WCash balance. You can use a combination of WCash balance and another payment method to pay for the product.

At this point, you cannot top-up or add WCash to your account. Also, no cash withdrawal will be permitted at any point in time, to any customer.

WCash amount credited in your Wallet account post a cancellation or failed order is refundable into the same card/account used for making the payment at the time of placing the order.

In case of cancellation of orders made through the Wallet account, the refunds if any after deducting cancellation charges, if applicable, will be processed into the Wallet account only.

WCash balance in the Wallet account does not bear interest.

Once you login to your account, click on "My Account" on the top left to view the dropdown menu. Select "My Wallet" to see the balance and statement.

WCash earned through promotional offers will be automatically credited to your Wallet on a regular basis.

However, for offers where you have received a separate promotion code you can login and go to My Account -> My Wallet where you will need to enter the promocode to add the WCash to the account.

Promotional WCash amount credited in your Wallet account is non-refundable and shall expire as per applicable offer terms. WCash credited post a cancellation or failed order does not expire.

The Wallet account can hold a maximum of 10,000 WCash at any given point of time and cannot exceed 100,000 WCash in any financial year.
