These hand painted canvas shoes for women, are inspired by the country rose of India called Desi Gulab which is known for its bright pink color and mesmerizing fragrance. In these shoes I've tried to capture the beauty of this wonderful versatile flower which is not only used as an offering to Gods but also food that's consumed in the form of rose petal jam called Gulkand. From wedding garlands to food and way upto the funerals, this flower is a very important thread in the fabric of Indian culture.
