Thought behind the gigantic rainbow strip windchime
The design was conceived by a customer who wanted to maximize the color riots on their chime and hence this was developed with 39 strips of stained glass that are all hand-cut, polished and drilled to form a beautiful rainbow.

The chime is 12 inches wide and wood-to-strip-end-length is about 10-12 inches.
Why this windchime
It makes the loveliest sound in the slightest of breeze due to the proximity of glass strips and when there is no breeze, it serves as the perfect window decor and a perfect conversation starter.
Where to place it
Place it where you get some light as these glasses look the best when light passes through them. If you are a night person, then keep it near a lamp or if you are a morning person, a window would be perfect.

No, Stained glass has color added to it in molten glass state itself and thereafter, the color stays consistent when it solidifies. So, it's not going to fade over time.
