Lord Ganesha seen sitting peacefully in a meditating pose. In the offerings to the Lord, a red hibiscus flower and some durva grass are seen. Hibiscus flowers are extensively used to attract his attention and please the lord. It is said that Lord Ganesha swallowed a demon and the grass provided relief from the heat. A small mouse is also present which represents the Lord's mode of transport into the nooks and corners to destroy the evil.
