What is the universe but layer upon layer of realities that co-exist? The ring embodies the Mandals of existence, with layers of Bidri work, which is a rare feat for a Bidri craftsman. Pure Silver inlaid into [blackened] White Brass.
Bidri was traditionally done to enhance the surfaces of simple daily objects into art fit for royalty - like thaalis, jugs and boxes. So it didn't evolve to be done on small or layered surfaces. But our artisans took on the challenge to adapt their technique to a design like that, and we hope you love what they have achieved for you!
The ring is from our Sitara collection, our first collaboration with the artisans of Bidriware from Bidar, Karnataka.
