A set of 2. Palm leaf etching is a rare craft that belongs to the state of Odisha. Minute details of animals, flowers, trees and elements of nature are etched onto the brittle surface of the dried palm leaves, using needles or iron stylus. Once completed, the lampblack is smeared all over the leaf and then cleaned. we have used the age-old craft to create some intricately designed coasters that care: wipe with damp cloth, dust with a soft dry brush.
