INTRODUCTION
Ohrna is a social enterprise focused on creating sustainable artisanal products, with a contemporary tone. It is a design-led enterprise launched with focus on creating ecological products that enable financial independence among homebound women and preserve time-honored craft traditions of India. We take pride in creating hand embroidered and hand made jute products that are lined with regional cotton fabrics, not plastic. Ohrna patronizes jute, because it is a durable plant fiber, therefore biodegradable and naturally decomposable.
ABOUT SHOP OWNER
Jhumkee is a product designer, teacher, writer and presenter.
Her strong desire to give back, to preserve rich craft traditions of her roots in Bengal, along with her artistic flair, imagination and love for colors, initiated Ohrna as her passion project few years ago, that soon turned into a social enterprise operating globally. It also brings her full circle to span a cultural bridge between India & USA, the two places she considers home.
Jhumkee is based in Pune, India. She designs, trains makers for free, while also running and growing the enterprise in India and overseas.

SHIPPING POLICY
Ohrna is committed to deliver your order with good quality packaging within given time frame. We ship throughout the week, except Sunday & Public holidays. To ensure that your order reaches you in good condition, in the shortest span of time, we ship through reputed courier agencies only. We apply a flat shipping fee to your order. Orders are dispatched within 3 working days or as per the delivery date specified by you at the time of placing the order. Most orders are delivered within 7 to 8 working days. Delivery of all orders will be duly done to the address as mentioned by you at the time of placing the order.
REFUND POLICY
Our products are handmade by artisans, making each piece unique. Small variations should be expected. Fabric lots and colors vary and may not exactly match photograph. We do not accept returns or exchanges on a product except in case of faulty closures, zippers, or color bleeds. In such a case we will refund you the full amount if shipped back to us within 7 days of delivery. We may not always be able to do an exchange, as many of our pieces are unique. If the item is however not returned in its original condition, you would be responsible for any loss in value. To ensure no color bleeds, we recommend hand wash or dry clean but our products do well in machine wash as well, recommended washing separately.
