A Portrait of the Artist
Jha holds a Bachelor's degree in fine arts (Paintings) from the College of Arts & Crafts, Patna University. An accomplished painter, he has had six solo painting exhibitions to his credit so far. The actor has an art studio in Pune, Maharashtra, and he often escapes from the humdrum of the city life to be in the company of colour, canvas and loads of creativity. He has also done many on the spot paintings; the nature of the artwork that he has produced in a jiffy is awe-inspiring.
His paintings are mostly acrylic on oil sheets, acrylic on canvas, watercolor, and mix medium. The details of his painting exhibitions are: 1. Bliss Art Gallery, Koregaon Park, Pune, from March 15 to April 5, 2010.
2. Bliss Art Gallery, Koregaon Park, Pune, from November 1 to 21, 2010.
3. Darpan Art Gallery, Kalachaya, Pune, from December 30 to January 4, 2011.
4. Tilting Art Gallery, Ishanya Mall, Yerwada, Pune, from May 15 to 22, 2011.

6. Ark Art Gallery, Koregaon Park, Pune, from September 2 to 11, 2011.
Jha had also contributed his illustrations for leading publications such as Navbharat Times, Hans and India Today.

Jha's stroke of creativity extends to poetry as well. His love affair with verses makes his thoughts that spring from his minute and detailed observation of people and their behaviour, dance to his words and soothe his senses. A seasoned writer, he made it his hobby, and that action translated into poems about nature and its beauty, people, and their myriad emotions. Qudrat, a recitation of his compositions, was held to a packed house in Pune in September 2015.
He has an excellent collection of photographs that again show his closeness to nature — the blue sky, flight of birds, bright dawn, emerald green forests, water gushing down the rocks — beautiful moments beautifully captured on camera.
