INTRODUCTION
Arpita has participated in the following art shows: 1. Regional Women's Art camp by LALIT KALA academy Bhubaneswar 2010 as a guest artist Govt. of India. 2. National level camp on journalism and cartoonist at Bilashpur, 2005, as a guest artist. Organized by the Govt. of India and state Govt. of Bilashpur. 3. (PALASH) -07 AT RANCHI (NATIONAL ART CAMP). 4. Art camp at DHANBAD organized by FOREST DEPARTMENT-2007.(Guest Artist). 5. 1st National Kala Kumbh-05 organized by kalankan prays; in association with CAMILIN in Dhanbad (Jharkhand) 6. Selected in the All INDIA WOMENS CONTEMPORARY ART COMPETITION 2012: PAINTING†TRAPâ€. Organized by Art scape (Chandigarh). 7. Invited as a guest artist at Art Mart Bhopal 2014. 8. Participated as Guest Artist in the workshop on Swachha Bharat at Darbhanga House organized by CCL head office Ranchi, Jharkhand. 9. Participated in the International Art Festival 2018 – FOCUS – Bangladesh.

Arpita Biswas Dasgupta is an Indian artist born in Dhanbad (Jharkhand) in 1988. She has participate in many national and international art show. She has dedicated herself to the creation of Indian style painting with exclusive styles and ultimate semi realistic form.
