ABOUT SHOP OWNER
"I have always been a keen student of Art and interested in different schools of paintings. In 2016, I completed my Bachelor of Fine Arts degree and specialized in Painting at Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidayalaya Kharaigarh (Chhattisgarh) University in Calcutta. I adore abstract expressionism, and some of my key inspirations have been from the western school: Clifford Still, Jackson Pollock. From the Indian Art context, I have been heavily inspired by Ram Kumar and, very recently, Akbar Padamse.
I love experimenting with different colours and find textures irresistible. My subject revolves around landscapes and creating landscapes from sight with my interpretation. I believe that one should not force to finish a painting - rather let the painting evolve on it's own and unravel a mystery, which reveals a different perspective to everyone. The greatest rule in painting, I believe, is that 'there are no rules, and we must not get hidebound by principles, instead enjoy the sheer act of painting.'
SHIPPING POLICY
Artworks shall be shipped rolled via reputed courier services only, please do not accept the shipment if it appears damaged/tampered with on arrival.
REFUND POLICY
Images are closest representation of actual painting. However there could be minor variations between the image and the actual painting due to media limitation. I do not accept returns. In the rare event of receiving a defective/wrong artwork, please reach out to me with images, and I shall be happy to help.
