INTRODUCTION
Kriti’s livelihood project aims to empower poor women by providing them an opportunity to earn income in a safe environment that maintains their dignity. Women can and need to become economically active in order to help improve their quality of life and also to improve their sense of agency. However, many of the women we work with in the slums have constraints that restrict them from taking up regular employment – need to look after young children, burden of household work, need to fill water which comes at odd hours, lack of self-confidence to go out of the home, social pressures and barriers especially in the Muslim community, lack of skills and network because of which even the work they get is low paying that it is not “worth the effortâ€. In the production centers, our women make a wide range of ecofriendly bags, file folders and accessories, garments and home linen.
ABOUT SHOP OWNER
Kriti Sustainable Livelihoods is a Hyderabad based social enterprise that is involved in skills training and livelihoods for women. We have number of small units in Hyderabad slums where we teach women tailoring and once trained, the women also get involved in the production of bags. We make a wide range of jute, canvas and cloth bags and also we provide customized bags based on the user requirements
SHIPPING POLICY
Items are processed and packed for shipping within 7 business days after receiving the order. We are collaborated with best of the courier services like DTDC etc. The transit times depends on the courier service. Don't receive the product if the package is tampered.
REFUND POLICY
Our return policy covers manufacturing defects that render the product unusable at the time of delivery. Please note: Several of our products are hand-crafted, and minor to significant variations in size, color or finish might occur. These are not covered under the return policy. To be eligible for a return , your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. In case you receive a damaged or unusable product, we request you to please take a photograph of it as soon as possible with the seller.
