Black Magic

INTRODUCTION
My self Sanchit Raj, having more than 10 years of Graphic and web designing but now i am full time Scribbler and for me The magic of black always intrigued me....this interplay of black and white always stood for strength and power. These lifelike illustrations with the use of ink are more pronounced on paper than any other form I believe. Freedom of expression is what I desire and my illustrations help me seek just that My process is quite simple: I choose and photograph the subject, draw the outlines in pencil and then meticulously reproduce it with thin technical black ink pens on rough grain paper, laying layers of ink in a repeating pattern of little circles. The result is a refined artwork with a strong individuality, both hyperrealistic and vibrant in a unique way. All drawings are original, handmade one-of-a-kind pieces that take 50 to 250 hours to be completed. Technique: Technical black ink pens, 0.05 to 0.8 mm on paper. Paper: Extra white, 100% cotton, rough grain, weight 300-640 gsm.

I am Sanchit Raj. My career in Graphic & Web design spans over a decade. A few months ago I decided to take up the role of a full time doodler. And I must admit... life has never been better.Â
The irony & interplay of black & white has always intrigued me. When these two seemingly simple, yet profoundly complex colours collide, the result is always a peculiar expression I associate with power.
My exploration down the black & white landscape, have culminated into these life like illustrations. Made using black ink along on paper, these are my interpretations of freedom. This is my expression.

100% within one week excluding shipping charges. In the rare event of receiving a defective/wrong artwork, please reach out to me with images, and I shall be happy to help. No deduction of shipping charges in such a case.
