The above quote by the 15th century Dutch scholar Erasmus sums up our philosophy behind this store. To put it simply, we love books and everything associated with them . We ( my husband and I ) started Books etc in 2016 to make available a wide range of literary gifts to fellow bibliophiles all across India.
We are passionate about all things bookish and through this venture, we promise to bring you an exciting range of products which is bound to tickle your book-sense!Â
SHIPPING POLICY
All the products are normally dispatched within 24/48 hours after receiving the order. The average delivery time is 4 to 5 working days in major cities. However, the delivery can take more time depending upon the delivery location. Thank you in advance for your patience. We charge a flat rate of Rs. 50 /product as shipping charges. At present we do not ship internationally.
REFUND POLICY
We will gladly accept any unused product in its original packing within 10 days of delivery. On returns, we reserve the right to send you a replacement or give you equivalent store credit. No cash refunds are made and no discounted products will be accepted. Ensure the product you are returning is unused, unwashed and in its original condition. If it is used, damaged or soiled the return won't be processed.  Kindly allow 1 to 2 weeks for processing. We will inform you when your return has been processed. Return shipping for the product will be at customer’s expense. Even though we inspect each and every product before dispatch, note that in the rare case of a damaged product or a wrong product delivered, you should inform us within 48 hours of delivery or call us preferably with a picture of the damaged/wrong product. No request will be entertained if concern is not raised within this stipulated period.
