Grathita
TRISHNA KRIPPS
INTRODUCTION
Grathita is a sanskrit word that means "bound together†As a designer, I have always felt that the fabric is the foundation of a garment. The kind of fabric you use to design a garment tells a lot about what you want to express through your designs. The prints, textures, colours and feel of the fabric is what brings your garment to life. India is a vibrant, beautiful, culturally diverse country, and in every nook and corner there exists a different kind of fabric which tells its own story. My thought is to take you on a journey through India, with each and every garment that I curate. Grathita as a brand focusses on binding together different fabrics of different colours, textures and embroidery from various parts of India, to create an unstitched garment that tells its own story, and helps you create your own. Grathita is an extension of me and brings alive my passion and love for garments.
