INTRODUCTION
Over A Cup of Chai, is an initiative towards promoting handicrafts, and facilitating a market place for the same. our primary design drive is up-cycling and up-lifting. the first chapter of OCC, opened with a collectible of handmade accessories, made out of fabric leftovers, using, various fading crafts like macrame, crochet etc. the range includes, neck, ear , hand accessories, anklets, brooches, and other small items. our team provides skill development training to groups of women and also offer them a platform with commercial benefits.

OVER-A-CUP-OF-CHAI, founded by mother-daughter duo, SANCHITA and SHIVAALIKA JULKA.
Shivaalika, an aspiring niftian, (fashion communication) , while working on a skill development programme as a high school project, came up with unique idea of upcycling leftovers , through ageold techniques of macrame, crochet, and other hand-works, weaving a line of earthy, sustainable jewellery and accessories.
Sanchita, an established fashion designer, founder/director of labels ,SANCHITAJULKAcouture, and itatva.com , teamed up with her daughter in this inspiring project, supporting overacupofchai with logistical and team support.
Together, they provide the creativity, enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit of OCC, (unit of FIKSHION COUTURE Pvt Ltd)
