INTRODUCTION

Born in Katni now settled in Pune and completed her studies from Nagpur University and Post-Graduation from Bhopal. Parul have always been passionate about art, designing, and other creative works, who accepts changes & even seeks it, with eagerness to inculcate new things, adapt it and make optimum utilization of the knowledge acquired. In 2011, I had my first art exhibition in Varanasi, and Awarded Third Prize in Painting by Akhil Bhartiya Vyas Mahotsava, Banaras (Varanasi), and many more awards i won. In 2016, 2017, I won "Katni City Merit Woman Artist Award" in Kalanand by Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation, Mumbai. I had participated in many National Art Exhibitions and been a part of International Art Exhibitions and represented my artworks in India as well as in International Level. My artworks are with “Venerable Master “THICH NHAT TU”, D.Phil , Vietnam”, “Rajkumar Badole,Social Welfare Minister Govt. of Maharashtra”, Sathron-11, Art Gallery, Bangkok and many more collections. I work on Buddha,with different Moods of Meditation, i uses Acrylic Colors as well as Oil colors on Canvas and some with mix medium. As i work i play with colours and i like to work on new shades with new techniques and new style. As my all paintings having different shades and techniques and theme. As i works on “MEDITATING BUDDHA”, to me the face of the Buddha has always represented that perfect state of inner calm & awareness. “Buddha” means “The Awakened One”- that is someone who has woken-up from the dreams of ignorance & the dream of being separate ego in a materialistic universe & sees things as they really are. “Meditation” is explained clearly & simply as a tool for developing qualities such as inner peace, love & patience. “The Lotus”,Padma, symbol of punity, can be of any colour except blue.
