INTRODUCTION
I'm an Indian painter, a Master of Arts in “Drawings and Paintings†by education. In my paintings,I've tried to depict, a woman who is known in the Indian subcontinent as panoramic beauty that manifests a world which "haunts" us by the ancient myths, primordial energies of Eros, representations of erotic passion & sublime. In the works displayed here,I've taken the "iconic image of a woman" who is almost a contortionist. This is the pictorial space that evokes a sense of Indian tradition.

Post Graduate in Drawings & Paintings. She exhibited her paintings in 83 group shows and 8 solo shows across india and abroad. She has attended 32 art symposiums including 17 International Art Symposiums at India, Turkey, Norway, Hungary, Russia, Egypt, Jordan, Cyprus and UAE etc.
Her painting got selected for 54th National Exhibition of Art by National Lalit Kala Akademy, Delhi in December, 2012. Apart from this, her works were also selected for 12 other important exhibitions e.g. 2012 for 85th IFACS Annual All India Art Exhibition at New Delhi, 2010 for IFACS 83rd Annual All India Art Exhibition at New Delhi, in 2010 for 12th All India Art Exhibition organized by State Lalit Kala Akademi Lucknow, in 2009 for Exhibition at Shimla organized by National Lalit Kala Akademi New Delhi, in 2006 for IFACS 78th Annual All India Art Exhibition at New Delhi, in 2006 for U.P. Lalit Kala 26th Annual Art Exhibition at Lucknow etc.
She won the Best entry award in “CAMLIN ART FOUNDATION†VIIth Northern Regional Exhibition at Chandigarh in Professional Category Acrylic Medium in 2007. Prize for Best Cover Design and Prize for the Best Print for “On the Spot Photography†in All India Festival “Thomso-84†at I.I.T., Roorkee, in 1981 Prize in State Art Competition held at Meerut and some other prizes by Rotract Club and at RG College competitions etc.
She was a member of jury in 2009 for an Art competition organized by Auditor General of Uttrakhand Dehradun and in 2013 for Northern regional art exhibition, Ghaziabad organized by U.P. Lalit Kala Akademi, Lucknow.​​
Her Works are in collection of various organisations in USA, India, Turkey, Norway, Hungary, Russia, Egypt, Jordan, Cyprus and UAE etc..
She resides and works at Ghaziabad.
