INTRODUCTION
Restories was started by Ratna Gupta and Shivani Bedi.
We believe that all things have a story to tell. So, we take an old story, deconstruct it and then reconstruct it. For rebirth and to tell a new story.
Our aim is to reuse what we find around us. To give new form and new utility. We believe in simple lines and minimalistic design. Since we work with what we find and use innovative techniques to link different materials together, each piece is unique and has its own story to tell.

Ratna is an artist. A sculptor. Recently her art practice has been revolving around the the concepts of memory and preservation. For her, Restories is a project that involves giving function to waste and discarded belongings. To instil product design into a part of her art practice.
Shivani is from an Advertising background, where creativity is in constant transformation. In a world where new replaces old at the blink of an eye, Restories, reconstructs that which we perceive as useless into a thing of beauty and purpose.
