A galleria of rugs, carpets, dhurries and kilims - RugWeave enhances the spaces within your homes with its woven wonders. We have a family of weavers and bring you rugs from our family to yours. We look at this art as a legacy and house 600 weavers across the country to produce these fascinating archaic, modern and motley designs.
ABOUT SHOP OWNER
An aspiring art appraiser dealing with handmade rugs, dhurries & kilims for 5 years. Having completed my degree in engineering, the usual Indian way - I started working as IT support and found the job drab and dull. Days were just going by without any specific excitement. A year into my job, one day my dad approached me and requested that I fill in for him at the store while he travelled. My dad was running our family business which dealt with handmade rugs, kilims & dhurries. It all started with his father (my grandfather), being a weaver himself - who used to trade his rugs for good & services.
I reluctantly agreed to fill in for my dad, growing up having never taken any interest in the business this I thought might be boring too. It was only when I sat those few days and started reading up on the historical value and culture behind rug making and understood that it was an art form by itself that it kindled something inside me. Since then, I've never looked back.
SHIPPING POLICY
Each order ships within a week of the time that it was placed by the customer. Shipping may take longer for products that are out of stock but will not exceed 6 to 8 weeks. Please note that all shipments will be sent to the address specified, so carefully review it for accuracy before placing your order. Otherwise, delays may result as we attempt to determine the correct address.
REFUND POLICY
If your products arrives defective (damaged in transit or manufacturing defect) or wrong , you may request a replacement within 7 days of your delivery at no additional cost. It is your responsibility to return the carpet in the original condition in which it was delivered. We are unable to accept refunds under the following circumstances: Damaged incurred by misusing the product. Accidental damage due to the Please note, time is of the essence for damaged or defective carpets and rugs. They must be returned to us as soon as possible. Remember, you only have 7 days to send your product in for replacement. And the sooner we receive the defective products, the more smoothly the replacement process can proceed.
