INTRODUCTION

Peelwa has portrayed this magical wildlife beautifully on his canvas. Known for his expertise in Wildlife Paintings, Ajay Singh Peelwa made his place among the best artists of the world. His spellbinding artwork ‘I Am Coming for You’ stood 8th position among top 10 winning artworks at 6th Annual “Nature” Art Online Exhibition 2016 where 814 entries were received from 25 countries. Not just this his artwork is also selected for events at international levels like for David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, Wildlife Artist of the Year 2015, London and for TOF Tigers 10th Anniversary event at Prestigious Royal Geographical Society, London. Another special artwork named ‘The Emperor’ has been selected for the Wildlife Art Society of Australasia Wild Awards 2016 in Melbourne, Australia. Excelling in Wildlife artwork, painter Ajay Singh Peelwa mostly chooses Tiger conservation for his canvas. He has evolved many new styles to paint a tiger like, through semi-abstract art, abstract art, realistic, miniature, printmaking, serigraphy, etching, lino etc. And to keep the interest of art lovers Ajay Singh chose to add new medium in his paintings named Cellulosic Paints which provides a high gloss to the paintings. According to the painter Ajay Singh Peelwa, “My ancestors were professional hunters before independence, as it was considered as sports then but unlike them, I preferred the conservationof wildlife through my paintings. Since childhood, I heard a lot about tigers and horses and they fascinated me as well so, at the age of three I started drawing animals on white sheet later it became a hobby and now it is a profession. As capturing wildlife on canvas was difficult, I visited many national parks and reserves to see wildlife and study their behavior which helped me in my future paintings.
