Born in 25 March, 1963 to J. Chandrashekar and Ranjini; educated at St. Aloysius College, Mangalore.
Stood first in state level inter collegiate painting in 1980, 1981, and 1982
1981 - At the age of 18, his first exhibition was two man show along with his teacher Mohan Sona.
1982 - “Summer of ‘82 a series of group shows along with Amit Sarkar, G. Subramanian, Mohan Sona & Johndevraj.
1983 - A series of street exhibitions with progressive artists, a journey through coastal Karnataka and Bangalore.
