Vartika Singh (Born on May 2 nd 1989, in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh) with a MFA degree in painting, from the Aligarh Muslim University, mainly works in mix media using unconventional objects/mediums at times depicting the variation of the artist’s intentions or the subject matter of that particular artwork. Her subject matter mostly revolves around feminism encountered around her. She currently lives and works in Hyderabad. Vartika has been part of several group shows including ‘Ray of Hope’ with American Center, New Delhi in 2015, “THE ANNUAL 2014” show with ARTS4ALL initiative 2014. A Group Show at ‘The Art Gallery’ at Sushant Lok Gurgaon in January 2014. She has also been an Artist in residence at ARTS4ALL Initiative at New Delhi in August-September 2013. and participated as a featured artist in the 1st Delhi International Film Festival 2012 Held in NDMC Convention Centre, New Delhi.
