Artist Profile - Chitra Singh I am a senior artist with experience spanning over thirty years in the field of visual arts. I have a Master of Arts in Drawing and Painting from Meerut University (UP, 1986) and have also completed a Certificate Course in Art Appreciation from National Museum (Delhi, 2006) . I have successfully held thirteen solo exhibitions in India and abroad, and participated in more than fifty group shows, art camps and workshops. I was felicitated by the honorable Chief Justice of India in 2008 and by the Principal of Ginni Devi Degree College (Modi Nagar, Meerut) in 2016 for my continued contribution to the field of art through my paintings. I have also been the recipient of multiple art awards, chief amongst them being the National Award in the 10th All India Contemporary Art Exhibition (2016) by DPS Haridwar and the National Award in the 83rd All India Exhibition of Arts (2017) by the Indian Academy of Fine Arts, Amritsar.
