I have been in love with flowers for as long as I can remember. To me, these silent beauties say a lot. How silently and beautifully they express our emotions. They are also nature’s gentle reminders of how very transient life is. A reminder so eloquently captured in Robert Herrick’s poem : "To Daffodils" Fair Daffodils, we weep to see You haste away so soon; As yet the early-rising sun Has not attain'd his noon. Stay, stay, Until the hasting day Has run... Like Herrick and most flower lovers, I wanted my flowers to stay longer, more so because there was always a little story or memory attached to them. Thus began a hobby—driven by a desire to preserve memories—of pressing flowers to preserve them. Over time I found myself using them to embellish little things I made by hand like greeting cards, book marks, frames, pots, etc. My hobby turned into a passion. These products are expression of it.
