Ramakrishna V. (b. 1976) received his B.F.A. in Painting from Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad (2001), and his M.F.A. in Painting from Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture and Fine Arts University, Hyderabad (2013). His cityscape artworks show the proximity of urban life and how closeness brings people together; people who while interacting with their surroundings also start interacting with each other. His works have shown in Vijayawada, Hyderabad, Bangalore, New Delhi and Mumbai. He has been awarded the Silver Medal at the All India Art Exhibition organized by the Hyderabad Art Society (2000). Ramakrishna lives and works in Viziangram District, Andhra Pradesh.
