I grew up in rural area Jharkhand, where beliefs and social hierarchy were larger than life, until I attended Art College in the city of New Delhi at the age of 23. Today, having spent the last 15 years of my art practice in Delhi, I feel reborn into a fresh context, while retaining the integrity and distinct character of my roots and the growing years.
