Victoria Knobloch is a German photographer who concentrates on portrait art and documentary work. She wants to welcome the viewer into the exploration of our complex existence with more awareness and therefore a spirit of importance, astonishment and appreciation. With her simple and direct photographic approach she is revealing the uniqueness of our everyday experience and the natural beauty of life. Her work embraces the fields of vanishing cultures, ancient traditions and contemporary culture alike, yet the human element is the continious thread. She is especially fascinated by Tibetan Buddhism and interested in it's flourishing. Further she is always in search of tranquility, beauty and the little worlds of the ordinary people as well as meditative landscape moods. Preferably she is working in Asian and African countries where life is not yet touched that much by capitalistic purpose-driven structures.
