Vijay enjoy capturing his experiences on canvas and sharing the same with others pleasures him equally. He likes to create simple theme while maintaining a throbbing vibrancy and positive energy in each work. The themes range from Brahmin, Lakshya to lively scene from Chaiwala carts, from Radha-Krishna and Christ, from women clad in traditional attire to animated bazar scenes, to name a few. His art is centered on the rural life. The simplicity of life in rural area never ceases to fascinate him. He is creating landscapes since childhood. His technique of using different colors and forms transform everyday mundane objects into special creations, resulting in a synergy between traditional beauty and worn-down everyday realities. Through his works, he also wishes to show a human bond that exists in our society.
