As someone who has studied textiles and clothing (SNDT, Mumbai), I have always appreciated our rich heritage of textiles. Having designed for various fashion brands and having taught fashion in one of the prestigious design Institutes, I am now drawn back to what I have always wanted to do - To design and to create. The thought behind starting my own venture by the name Veeve n Color is to amalgamate traditional and contemporary art through exquisitely embroidered and hand crafted products for home. Also trying my bit to generate a source of income for women who know needlecraft but don't know how and where to use their skills. As an individual I always feel that we need to liven up spaces where families come together and share their valuable discussions and happy moments, and where guests are entertained over a cup of coffee/ meal.
