I am a computer science graduate and an MBA. After working in multinational companies for 6 years, I decided to take a sabbatical to study jewelry and travel. I moved to New Delhi because it was closer to the Himalayas and I could still study in a design school. I never went back to the corporate world; instead gave in to the prospect of creating things and living an inspired life. In 2010, I started the label Benaazir. We make minimal, timeless, ubiquitous jewelry. We present a fresh perspective on jewelry, merging two different worlds - old and the new; traditional and contemporary. Our designs are ever evolving marrying traditional crafts legacy with today’s relevant narrative.
