My son Shaurya, is a 30 year old with Down’s syndrome. Blessed with a cheerful disposition he is full of life and positive attitude. Shaurya is a potter and artist who works from his own studio- Banana Studio located in Gurugram He learnt to make pottery under the guidance of professionals in South Africa and Bangkok Thailand. He has exhibited his works in Bangkok Nelson Hays Gallery, Epicenter Gurgaon, Finext Indore and other places. His artwork has been selected by the Plowns calendar 2018. Shaurya’s journey as a potter has been a fulfilling experience for him. Shaurya and me both work together from our studio. I help him run the studio and also create artworks in clay. I am trained in decoupage technique and design wooden items from our studio.
