I am a self-taught artist. All my recent works are based on realism in charcoal on paper. I want to paint reality in a different way. By getting very close to the subject, one can genuinely surprise a viewer with something he thinks he already knows. I focus on one subject from everyday life and trace my work from the remains of my real life observation. I like to accomplish layers of shading, hatching after hatching with all the perseverance until it is perfect. Time and patience are very important factors in the genre of hyperrealism.
