I am Freelance studio potter..... Pottery being my passion and my life..i am doing it since year 2004..
I do sculpture work as well.. But pottery excites me the most..
My work is simple . Abstract or geometrical it has rhythm and flow of patterns arranged . I work in stoneware , using very earthly browns and greens , bright blues , off-white, high temperature glazes . I crave on or emboss my work , or sometimes keep it simple . I work in series, with varying sizes of a shape . My main focus is making decorative tiles, bottles ,platters ,tea-pots,sculptures using wheel, slab and coil techniques . Most of the time I mix these three techniques together . I also work in terracotta.
