We are incredibly fortunate to be born into a world that surrounds us with diverse flora and fauna. But this gift is slowly disappearing. With every passing year, humans encroach upon natural habitats and build concrete jungles in their place. By depicting nature through my art, I remind my fellow inhabitants of Planet Earth of the beauty that we are eroding. Each element in nature, whether it is an animal, tree, river or mountain is unique in its appeal and symbolism, and this is what inspires me. Whenever I am creating art, whether in my studio or often out in the wild, my goal is simple: I strive to transmit the essence of not only what my eyes and ears capture but also the feelings that these sights and sounds evoke in my mind and heart. I am full of wonder for this beautiful world, and am always on the lookout for fleeting moments that I can immortalize on my canvas.
