A young girl was fascinated by the colors of Nature. She started to portray these colors on fabrics and canvas and gifted these paintings to family and friends for Christmas and other occasions. They were wowed by these gifts and that’s the moment the spark in the form of a mustard seed germinated in her heart. In her 50’s after her retirement as an English lecturer , Mrs.Usha Scaria, took out this spark , brushed it, polished it and splashed these colors on fabrics mostly for her children and grand children. She painted with love and passion on pillow cases, bed sheets, cushion covers and T-shirts which she started portraying to the world in the form of exhibitions and fete. She is nurturing her God given talent so that the little spark flares up into a bright flame.
