Arnab Roy, born in 1971 is a practising wildlife painter and illustrator from West Bengal India. After successfully completing his graduation in commerce from Calcutta University, he left his profession as an accountant and enrolled at The Academy of Fine Arts, Kolkata, for a diploma in visual arts. His love for nature and wildlife subsequently led him to Wildlife Painting which he cherishes to do and has been doing since, Working with Pen, watercolour and acrylic his works have appeared in periodicals, posters, books and educational material on Wildlife for WWF-India,(Worldwide fund for nature), IUCN ( International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources),Zoo Outreach Organisation, IUCN SSC (Asian Elephant specialist Group), IUCN SSC (International Bear News Network), Karger Publications, Switzerland, World Zoos and Aquariums USA, Forest department, Govt of West Bengal, India, and a host of national and international ngos.
