Upasana uses fashion as “design for change”. We touch the lives of farmers, weavers, dyers and countless families through our work in the area of textiles.At fashion is used to tie threads to larger issues of sustainability.

Upasana is a Sanskrit word. It means ‘sitting near’ and it comes from the spiritual tradition of India and implies sitting near the sacred to worship or to adore. We have chosen this name to represent our inmost aspiration, which is to realize the sacred divine presence that permeates the Universe. Work is our worship and offering.

Cutting across all religions, is our interest in spirituality that can transform life and make it true, good and beautiful.
