Beautiful girl portrait with flowers in her hair. All the sections are hand embroidered using combination of the Bullion Knot. Its an interesting stitch used to make simple motifs. I would say that this is an 'elongated' knot that can be used liberally to group together and make dense textures. This stitch gives an embossed look. Stem stitch is a type of embroidery that has been in use, since time immemorial. Its a design created with a criss-cross stiches. Earliest know Bayeux Tapestry is also made with stem stitches.
