An Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya, Pune alumnus, Kudalayya Hiremath has chosen watercolor as his medium of expression. His vibrant strokes have earned him several awards in various local and state level competitions. These include, apart from the first prizes in the college competitions (2005, 2006), the Best Portrait Award of Chitari Academy (2008), Award for water color painting in Pune Festival (2009), Qualification for the 2013 International Watercolor Catalog and the Bombay Art Society Award for Watercolor Painting 2013 and many more.
