The Palm Leaf Paintings of Odisha is one of the most ancient forms of arts which originated with the beginning of written communication. This beautifully handcrafted piece elucidates how Lord Krishna enjoying the moment, by playing flutes. The intricate motif on the blue encirclement in this traditional painting is one of the major highlighting features. With the continuous innovations in art the inscription of text on the palm leaves slowly shifted to colorful images. After burying it for few days it is again dried in shade and then the natural colors are applied on it and pasted on hand crafted papers. For framing cane stick is used in these paintings.
