The stole is unique with its black warp and white weft. The kala cotton yarn is organic cotton (desi cotton) of India, surprisingly surviving over centuries. The yarn is handspun by village ladies in Bhuj, Gujrat. This stole is hand dyed in organic black color made by rusting of iron in jaggery water. Then, it is woven by Vankar Weavers on Handloom in traditional Extra-Weft technique which is like Jamdani weave. The motifs are geometric and signify the simplicity of weaving class in Kutchch region. The loom is heritage wealth of this weaving community. All weavers work in their looms at homes, and it gives employment to whole family. Eco - Friendly choice for conscious customers. The process of making fabric or yarn is zero carbon footprint.

Indigo Amour means love for color Indigo. This is how the brand was started - design with eco-friendly natural dyes on handloom fabrics. We make casual dresses, tops and stoles using organic Kala Cotton (desi kapaas) with khadi process where yarn is spun by hand and not machines.
