Typically, the motifs are from the “Bihula-Bishahari” folklore, i.e. plants of Champa, Snake
near leaves, five Bishahari sisters, merchant Chandrasaudagar etc. Nowadays, other
folklores are also painted in the same style like Lord Shiva, Ram-Sita etc. Borders are one of
the important aspects of this painting and majorly depict flora and fauna. Only three colors
