Both evoke human feelings and both rely on the concept of unity and contrast for expression. It involves studying the basic concepts common to both visual and musical arts such as line, texture, rhythm and color and analyzing works of artists like Kupka, Kandinsky and Klee who have developed ideas of correlation.
